SUMMER SOLSTICE

As the sun spirals its longest dance,
Cleanse us.
As nature shows bounty and fertility,
Bless us.
Let all things live with loving intent

And to fulfill their truest destiny

  1. Wow, is it already the longest day shortest night? It would be the shortest day for me of course! Which ever way it may be, I have enjoyed the little poem you have posted to support it.
I’m so busy that it does not matter much how long or short the day may be. I need also to find some time to update my blog….
    Take care.

  2. Laird–wonderful to see your comment on my site– I did not think you still came by, and I am so pleased that you did.  We had a splendid time in bonnie England, and funny you should have Stonehenge on your site–I just did an album of the ones I took there last week, and an entry about my experience there.  I bet it is pretty crowded for the solstice….

It would have been fun to see your castle!  If we go again, I will be in touch.  (There was a long time I could not get to your site!)  Good to be in touch again.

  3. Gourmet?  Yikes!!  I\’d best be taking some lessons then or you\’ll be horribly disappointed.  The wine would definitely be the best thing on the table.  😉

  4. Good morning Laird, I watched my future Prime Minister Gordon Brown receiving his ‘labour crown’ yesterday. I hope his passage and role as Prime Minster proves fruitful for Britain. What are your thoughts?
